We are pleased to announce that the Melbourne launch party for The Librarian of Cappadocia by Dean Kalimniou, illustrated by Talia Lomman, will be held at 3pm on the 21st of July. The famed Bishop Themi of Sierra Leone will launch the book at St. Dimitrios Greek Orthodox Church Parish Hall, 1 Gladstone Street, Moonee Ponds.

Dean Kalimniou is a lawyer by profession. His previous work includes six volumes of poetry and the children’s book Soumela and the Magic Kemenche (St. Andrew’s Orthodox Press). He writes in English and Greek and lives with his wife and children in Melbourne.
Talia Lomman is an illustrator from Melbourne’s South-East. Her previous work includes The Bay and Padie Book, (Bonfire, 2021)
Father Themistocles Adamopoulo is an Archimandrite in Freetown, Sierra Leone in the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa. Born in Alexandria and raised in Melbourne, Bishop Themi’s remarkable life and work has inspired countless people around the world. Read more about him here.
